D20 mount Aso

Overall in Kyushu, everyone was especially friendly to us. The bus driver drove us to our accommodation and coincidentally I found his wallet on the bus after that.

We took a bus up the mountain. It looked pretty grey in town. We drove through the low clouds and the sky was blue at the peak.
The aso mountain region was peculiar. It's caldera is massive spanning over 20 km in diameter. So many people actually live inside the caldera.
There were still active peaks. We were lucky to be able to get up close to the peak as the peak could be closed somedays due to poisonous gas.
