On the way, the metal chain on my bike fell off twice, fortunately it went back in place pretty easily.
Our first stop is Ginkakuji temple; meaning silver pavilion.
It has the most fascinating sand gardens.
Its famed for the unique dry sand garden. We also enjoyed the moss covered ground.
The leaf colour was also at its peak.
Furthermore it over looks Kyoto from the eastern side.
It's my favorite in Kyoto so far.
