Unfortunately, when we arrived there it was sprinkling and looked more grey.
Maybe because of the weather the town was very quiet. So we took a short walk in town very roughly.
We tried an onsen called ikoi, the standing onsen was interesting. But it was too difficult to get to the mixed bath and the change room attached to mixed pool was shared between male and female.
The place we stayed at was named okunoyu. It was a lovely stay and had excellent meals there too. We were struggling to finish all. We had onsen before and after dinner. Upon return to our room, the futon had been laid and there were more food on the table.
There were quite a few different type of pools. We had been lucky that often we had the pool to ourselves. We took a few pictures in the family onsens which was a private onsen.
As the weather was cold, the outdoor pool was a little bit too cold. We could not enjoy the view for too long in outdoor pools.
