D17 Miyajima

After a delicious tempura lunch in Hiroshima, we set off to miyajima; a island just off the coast. We have booked a night there.

Apart from human, deers had the second most population on the island. And that were free to roam around the whole island.
The island was famous for the huge wooden rice scoops and many of the mini wooden rice scoops for good luck.

We went for a walk in the evening, visited the "floating" tori. It was low tide at the time, so we were able to walk right to the support. The town was still buzzing with tourists.
