D8 Kanazawa

We left Shirakawago at around 10:30. After about 1 hour bus ride, we arrived at Kanazawa.

Kanazawa city provides very cheap bicycle rental. 200 yen per person per day for trips under 30 mins. So we cycled our way around as most tourists spots in Kanazawa are close to each other.

Our first stop is the ninja temple. We had a reservation made prior. Though the tour was only in Japanese, we were able to understand all the hidden passage ways and traps. It was pretty impressive. Hidden trap door, hidden rooms and hidden passage ways. We were so disorientated inside though it was not a huge building. No photo were allowed inside, I only took a few on the temple ground.

Second stop is Kenrukoen garden, one of the best 3 gardens in Japan. We arrived at 3:45, but it was long before sunset.
The garden was still beautiful nonetheless, just didn't turn out ad well in photos.

We had dinner at Kanazawa station. It was one of the most iconic station I've seen.
